Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer to grow and embrace new technologies and security practices as the company expands. This is a unique opportunity to help build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure leveraging IaC (Infrastructure as Code) processes. In this role, you will work collaboratively and independently contributing to the growth and maintenance of AWS infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. Seeking an engineer with a working background in AWS, configuration management, automation, scripting, and data engineering.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines
- Collaborate with software development to implement continuous integration and deployment processes
- Automate build, deployment, and testing processes using tools such as Terraform
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS
- Support development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS
- Drive enhancements to CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services
- Collaborate with development team to integrate applications into the infrastructure
- Manage the operation of production, staging, and development environments in AWS
- Create logging and monitoring utilities to proactively address system environment issues
- Manage production and environment support issues, debugging, implementing solutions, and responding to incidents
- Deploy updates and fixes to environments
- Maintain cloud network configurations and network diagrams
- Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance
- Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve our infrastructure
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years experience in AWS or DevOps Engineering related role
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Terraform or CircleCI
- Strong understanding of software development and release processes
- Knowledge of AWS services and their application to deployment and management of infrastructure
- Experience working in a remote team to support clients and developers
- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure, data implementation and engineering, networking implementation, security and identity solutions, and solutions
- Scripting experience
- One or more AWS cloud certifications preferred
- Experience with Healthcare platforms & HIPAA security standards is a bonus
