Systems Administrator

Summary: 

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing system engineering, administration and technical support across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide system engineering, administration and technical support
  • Assist in the design and architecture of IT systems, including cloud infrastructure, network services, and security frameworks
  • Manage Active Directory, MS Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Azure, SAN, VMware, servers, and desktop services
  • Manage and optimize Windows-based servers and systems to ensure seamless operations
  • Administer Active Directory services including user/group management, Group Policy implementation, and security configuration
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and support future initiatives
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot issues, procure hardware/software, and stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration role with experience as a Windows environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy management
  • Strong understanding of Azure services and solutions
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent are a plus
